Why am I not receiving InstaPay notifications on Instagram (e.g., payment requests, received payments)?

Meta enforces a 24-hour messaging policy. If you haven’t interacted with the InstaPay chatbot in the last 24 hours, notifications may not be sent.

I did not receive my OTP (verification code) on Instagram. What should I do?

Check your message requests on Instagram, try SMS or email verification, and ensure your Instagram app is updated.

My Google Authenticator first code doesn’t always work. Why?

If your phone’s time is incorrect, the codes may be invalid. Set your time to automatic sync to resolve the issue.

Why is the InstaPay chatbot sometimes not responding?

Possible reasons:

  • Instagram’s servers are down or under maintenance.

  • Your Instagram app is outdated (update it).

  • Temporary service disruptions (try again later).

What should I do if my payment request or transaction fails?
  • Check if:

    • Your account has sufficient balance.

    • Your internet connection is stable.

    • Your payment method is valid.

  • If the issue persists, contact InstaPay support.
